    Dear Colleague,

It is my pleasure to cordially invite you to the 7th Budapest Nephrology School organized by the International Nephrology Research and Training Center at the Semmelweis Medical University.
During this one-week program of the 7th Nephrology School, our distinguished international speakers update you in nephrology, dialysis and transplantation. In fact, we cover from molecule to beside, from most recent scientific advances to the current clinical approaches. You will also enjoy the possibility of close interaction with faculty in small group workshops. You can bring your colleagues. You can also tour our quality dialysis or research units.
We have always been motivated by the successful outcomes of the previous Schools to keep our standards high, invite internationally known speakers, provide the most optimum environment, encourage interaction and at the same time reduce the participation fee to the minimum. During the past years more and more people revisit the School from many different countries.
There will be exciting social programs as well, including guided tours and visit to historical cities of Hungary. The participation fee has every year been subsidized. For a well reduced fee you will receive:

  • Attendance to the course.
  • Accommodation in a three star hotel from

August 31 to September 5.

  • Full boarding (breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshers)
  • Social program

Registration fee

695 USD - for applicants from developed countries

295 USD - for applicants from developing countries

A good part of the actual participation fee is sponsored by the Hungarian Kidney Foundation and other national and international organizations for the benefit of the physicians from developing countries. More over the Foundation will completely support a number of young applicant from the developing countries. To enjoy this total participation fee waiver you are required to enclose a recommendation letter and a letter stating the reasons for the request for fee waiver together with your Curriculum Vitae. The organizing committee will inform you of its decision in time.
I am looking forward to seeing you in Budapest at the turn of the next Millenium.

Sincerely yours
